Excitement.

Enrollment at ND: Check.
Plane ticket to South Bend: Check.

I'm only awaiting a housing assignment. Things are looking good for a June 19 departure.

And as a bonus, my friend Katie from high school is going to be working in Chicago this summer. She's totally going to show me around the Windy City. It's only a couple of hours away by train and the fare is about $20 each way. I've never been to Chicago. This is exciting.

chicago is AMAZING!!! the museums, the art, the zoos, the buildings, the water, the strange architecture and sculptures, the CULTURE!!!! i'm beginning to salivate just THINKING about it!!
it is one of my all-time favorite cities!! i'm actually thinking of moving there with michelle after we graduate.
congrats on the enrollment at ND. what a great adventure this will be!
p.s. did you know we'll only be about 3 hours from each other? hmmmm...

I, too, highly recommend the art museum. And the blues scene.

Also I saw Mono play last week and they are my new favorite band for a while.
